I watch               
my life   
           with idle 
curiosity     
It goes by further    
each day     
like sitting by the river 
knowing something pressing 
Each increment of time      
seems more pressing         
Each feels better spent than 
the last, but only because   
it is irretrievable.          
Sitting here watching I      
feel nothing
